The Atlas · Claim check
You've heard it. But is it proven?
These are claims people really make, counted by how many different people said them and graded against what the Atlas shows. Where the evidence is still growing, an Ēnel study begins.
Claims gathered from public health forums, each counted once per person and included once at least 3 different people made it. Verdicts come from the Atlas, as of 22 Oct 2026. Explore the Atlas
Look up anything in the Atlas.
1,724 entries across 16 libraries, each graded from 1, untested, to 5, settled.
Drag or swipe to browse. Cards turn into their own words as they cross the centre line. Use the left and right arrow keys to choose an entry, and Enter to open it in the Atlas.
From a claim to a study, in three steps.
- Look it up
Search the Atlas for anything you've heard and see how well it is proven.
The Atlas - Share your routine
Log what you take, see what the Atlas says about it, and meet people on the same thing.
Community - Help answer it
Where the evidence is still growing, your routine can become part of an Ēnel study.
Studies
Members, and the team behind them.
Members share what they take and how often. Each routine sits next to what the Atlas says about it, and a team of scientists and clinicians helps turn the open questions into studies.

Built on trials, reaching further.
Trials prove cause. Ēnel follows real life, and builds on both.
- Assigns a treatment to a selected group
- Removes variation to get a cleaner sample
- Measures a set window, then ends
- Observes the routines people already chose
- Keeps real-life variation in the picture
- Counts every experience, whatever the result
- Follows the same people over time, and keeps learning

About Ēnel
Meet the team.
The scientists, clinicians, builders and advisors working to make health evidence easier to use.
For Jeffrey, this mission is personal.
At 29, Jeffrey Sternberg underwent major surgery to remove his colon. His health journey shaped his belief that people deserve more complete, carefully examined information about health.
His story is the human starting point for Ēnel's ambition: understand what we know, find the open questions, and help make new evidence possible.
The truth is something you measure, not something you are sold.
Why Ēnel exists
How Ēnel came to be.
- 1999
Inside healthcare
Jeffrey starts working in healthcare and watches medicine and the business of medicine pull in different directions.
- Age 21
A patient looking for answers
Diagnosed with Crohn's and ulcerative colitis at once, he worked with renowned specialists and tried the newest drugs, looking for what would last.
- 2015
The question that started Ēnel
A new combination of medications puts him in danger, and he asks the question Ēnel is built on: which of these is actually working?
- The turn
A different question
Functional lab testing finds what twenty years of appointments missed. Treatment follows his own data, and he has been free of prescription medication since.
- The conviction
Measure whether it works
Evidence over influence. Measure whether the thing works, and let the answer come straight from the data.
